Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
An FSA allows you to pay for unreimbursed medical expenses and cetain dependent care expenses (children under 13, disabled dependents) out of tax-free dollars. The University provides for FSAs under the terms of its contract with the AAUP-AFT. Each year there is an FSA enrollment period (October-November or November-December) for the next calendar year. The enrollment period for 2008 ends on November 9, 2007. For details, go here. For the enrollment form, click here. For the simple claim form, click here.
